I’ve worked in journalism for more than a decade, drawn to roles that help drag the product and business sides of the newsroom into the future. I’m currently the head of partnerships for Scroll, an ad-free membership product focused on helping publishers build sustainable business models with reader revenue. I previously managed business development and partner relations for Apple News, ran audience revenue partnerships for Time Inc., and built a global customer success team at real-time software startup ScribbleLive (back when everything was liveblogged). I’ve been both a reporter and editor, and my words and photos have been published in city blogs, indie sites and national newspapers and magazines.
